Causes: Developmentally Disabled Centers, Disabilities, Education, Human Services, Job Training, Special Education, Vocational Counseling
Mission: CLC Network promotes the development of people with a variety of abilities and disabilities to live as active, integrated members of their communities. We partner with families and organizations to understand more fully the individuals we serve and to build support systems that enable their inclusion in all aspects of life.
Results: -More than 12 psychologists and teachers travel to more than 20 states and speak at more than 35 conferences and gatherings annually. -CLC Network helps thousands of students in 57 Network schools, in 4 states. -CLC Network carries more than 38 books, DVD’s, and other items that provide information about and tools for inclusion.
Target demographics: create inclusion for persons of all levels of ability and disability
Direct beneficiaries per year: 47 partner schools, nearly 300 students through individual evaluations, and 2,000 congregations
Geographic areas served: church and school communities
Programs: school and church consultations, individual evaluations, book and DVD resources, professional development sessions and online, teacher-directed courses for middle school students.
