Causes: Developmentally Disabled Centers, Disabilities, Human Services
Mission: To provide various services and advocate for the mentally and physically disabled.
Programs: 1. ) our organization services medicaid approved clients. Staff members are titled as msc medicaid service coordinators. Their responsibilities are to advocate for their clients so that each of them is afforded all the possible benefits that a medicaid recipient who is either physically or mentally handicapped is entitled to receive. Our advocacy is free of charge to the medicaid recipient. 2. ) other staff will offer residential habilitation whereby they will prepare young adults for independent living by training in activities of daily living, socialization, cognition and community inclusion. 3. ) day habilitation without walls is a community based service geared to blend individuals with the community at large. The focus will be community integration and volunteer activities which develop skills in areas such as job readiness, self direction, technology use, travel training, leisure management, socialization, time management, exercise and fitness.
