Mission: Citizen effect's mission is to provide citizens with the tools and support they need to bring their friends, family and social network together and fund a small but critical project for a community in need.
Programs: Citizen effect projects are small but critical improvements that have significant community-wide impact. They must meet the following criteria: projects address critical needs and represent at least one focus area (water & sanitation, education, food, security, clean energy, and health). Projects are stand alone or self-contained, and do not rely on additional funding in order to be implemented. Projects have a total cost less than 10,000 usd. Projects can be constructed or implemented in approximately 3-5 months once funding is received. Projects meet a broad and direct community need and use local labor and materials to complete when possible.
