Mission: Cinderella pet rescue is dedicated to saving the lives of animals that have been abused, neglected or abandoned in south texas and is trying to get them adopted into qualified homes. Additionally, cinderella pet rescue tries to educate the community about the importance of proper pet care, including spay/neuter.
Programs: 1) during 2017 there were 74 dogs rescued and admitted to the shelter. Each one was spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated and microchipped. Additionally, 82 dogs from the shelter were adopted into qualified homes. 2) cinderella pet rescue volunteers took dogs and cats to forty adoption events at petsmart and petco as well as several other additonal locations. 3) cinderella pet rescue volunteers attended several community activities where hundreds of hand-outs regarding the importance of spay/neuter and proper pet care were distributed.
