SCAM! This supposed non-profit is in the news as being investigated by police in Modesto. In addition, I had a "representative" show up as far away as my home in Livermore, where he claimed to work at the "women's shelter" here. As it happens, I have worked at the women's shelter here for over ten years, so I know he was lying and when he handed me his slip of paper, it said based in Stockton. This group is not a non-profit, is lining its own pockets, is lying about where they are based, and are basically scum.
