This note in response to 'Guidestar Request for Support' with question of " why would any thinking person want to support such ignorant drivel?"As Service Officer of the Post I personally testify to hundreds of support actions for veterans and their families, support for schools and students, interfacing continuously with Local, State and federal officials in these interests, testifying at each Congressional Hearing to secure more veteran treatment facilities and service here, personally participated in securing MHSA funded veteran outreach across the state, personally participated in homeless assistance projects, and the sharing of information via presentations to civic groups, support of federal legislation related to PTSD, TBS, Substance Abuse and Mental Health and insult to injury, your quoted 'reviewer' (obviously a totally ignorant hatchet job) has not an inkling of our continued unbroken support of "The GI Bill" , it's effect on the whole planet since it's birth at Karl Ross Post 16, American Legion. Shame on you! you! Cary Martin, ServiceOfficer,

Most ALs are more bars and political .
lots of kids programs to recruit future members too.
If they do work to help homeless vets or if nay one has good experience where AL really helped any homeless vet in need, or with claims and without paying dues and signing on to the far right politics, first, please post.

Need help?
