Mission: CCSM was founded in 1993 by a grassroots, small group of Christians who were experiencing frustration regarding use of their gifts and suited employment. Most of us were too poor to do anything about it. Promoting a Catholic Church teaching which states that people are uniquely gifted to fulfill specific tasks, projects, work as part of God's plan for their life, was adopted into our mission. The initial purpose was to get grants for individuals' experienced calls (to do) something more. With few people understanding that purpose, our main activity has been assisting others with gift and vocation identification.
We hope others who have been financially blessed, who believe in what we promote to empower people, will use their "giver" gifts to support our work and cause so we can get out of "maintenance mode." Even one generous donation could also free us to live our original purpose too, unleashing CCSM's potential.
