I am grateful that Stepping Stones is here in the community. I picked up one of their hotline cards at the thrift store one day, kept it in my wallet just in case. That day came and I was able to give it to a woman who was on the phone crying in downtown Prescott. I don't know the outcome, but I was happy that I had a resource she could take. I always pick up more cards now when I can!

Stepping Stones has the best thrift stores! I find good supplies at the clothing outlet store in Prescott Valley.

Such amazing staff and amazing products in their thrift stores! :) It is always nice and clean. I love shopping there. Even better, proceeds stay local and go back to their shelter. Definitely a good organization to support!

Thumbs up from me!! :)

Our initial experience with Stepping Stones was as customers of their well run thrift stores. When we decided to look for volunteer opportunities, Stepping Stones immediately attracted us. Once a part of this wonderful nonprofit, we were increasingly impressed by the range of services it provides and the constant and thoughtful appreciation it shows its volunteers, no matter what we are doing or how much or little time we have to give. It is truly a class act among nonprofits.

I work for a local employment service. We have partnered with Stepping Stones to help people with disabilities learn the skills necessary to be gainfully employed. I don’t think I have every worked with an agency that is so willing to go the extra mile to help people in need. I have mostly worked with Jesus who is the volunteer coordinator. He has gone above and beyond to help my clients learn the skills they need to succeed. Thank you Stepping Stones!

The Stepping Stones shelter not only provides people with a place to stay, but goes above and beyond by helping those who stay there achieve real, permanent change (using tried-and-true, evidence-based techniques). Their thrift stores and coffee shop also make them one of the most self-sufficient nonprofits around, and they are amazingly engaged with the local community. Absolutely fantastic agency!

STEPPING STONES IS THE BEST RUN ORGANIZATION I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. OVER THE YEARS I'VE BEEN TO MANY THRIFT STORES ,BUT SS OFFERS THE MOST DIVERSE SERVICES FOR A NON PROFIT. I SHOP AT THEIR STORES, SHARE COFFEE WITH FRIENDS AT THE COFFEE SHOP THERE AND DONATE ITEMS AND THEY HAVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! AND THEY PROVIDE WONDERFUL SERVICES TO MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN. GREAT JOB GUYS!! HOPE TO BE ABLE TO DONATE TIME SOON. P.s. shop there, you'll be surprised at the neat stuff they have...at red barn and clothing store.

My family and I have never had to use their services, but I am part of a community club that donates items and money to Stepping Stones. We recently took a tour of the facility and were so impressed with their services. I am so pleased that we have this facility available in our community.

Stepping Stones is such a wonderful non profit! I love it so much and love being able to be part of it! I had a rough childhood and have seen domestic violence happen as well as drug abuse within my family. At a young age, I have seen my mother be beaten by my father and have seen my mother use illegal drugs. This has happened regularly all my life. I then graduated high school and decided to move out and find a community I can be part of. I just recently moved to Prescott Valley and came across Stepping Stones. It is so wonderful how all the proceeds from the thrift, clothing and coffee house go straight to the shelter. I attended a tour of the shelter and it really "hit home". Seeing the programs they offer, the gifts they give, the atmosphere they provide in the homes and how hard the associates work to help them have a second chance at life brings me soooooo much joy. I donate often and devote my time to this awesome cause. Nothing but great things to this non-profit! Definitely a Stepping Stones Supporter!

The many services Stepping Stones provides to the community are amazing, and the reason that I continue to support this agency. There is a feeling of warmth, recovery, support, and a genuine desire to empower those who wish to change their lives.

Stepping Stones is the best! The people who work there are kind, generous and considerate. The stores are clean and bright. The purpose is what matters the most: a haven or immediate shelter when needed. I have been a customer, a supporter, and a volunteer and they are simply the best.

I've been visiting, donating and shopping at Stepping Stone since 2001, when store was in the old building. I recommended this store to my friends, because it is so much fun to shop there for everyone! You never know what you can find there! I think that people who works there and volunteers are doing Great Job for our Community! Thank you for being there for us!

I first learned about Stepping Stones by shopping at their thrift store in Prescott. I didn't know that all the proceeds went to their domestic violence shelter for local families. It is awesome that every time I shop there, I know that I'm supporting people right here in Prescott. They have great deals on thrift items, most of my wardrobe is from their awesome selection! Thank you for what you do!

My sister was lost. Her kids had been taken away from her, her boyfriend was really abusive even violent. She started doing Heroin, she was sort of a heavy drinker anyway. My husband would not let her live with us because we didn't want any of that crazy around our kids. I finally talked her into going to Stepping Stones. Here it is 6 months later and SS got her a job in their coffee shop, donated a car to her, she has been clean and sober for 6 months and goes to the Guidance Clinic counseling program. SS helped her by letting her stay in their transition apartments. It is so great.
