Causes: Community Recreational Centers, Sports
Mission: The mission of the christian athletic complex and stormy creek course is to provide athletic facilities for use of its members. A christian atmosphere is provided so that members may enjoy god's creation. This is part of the command given in i cor 10:31 ("what ever you do, do to the glory of god")
Programs: Golf course - approximately 18,000 rounds of golf were enjoyed by members and people in the community. In addition there were about 180 young people who participated in a summer youth golf camp. There were also three golf leagues that played and special olympics enjoyed 20-30 participants during the summer. First tee of west michigan also used the facility to teach troubled youth golf lessons.
softball program - about 110 church organized teams participated in summer and fall leagues. There were about 1,800 young people who enjoyed using the miniature golf course while softball was being played by the adults.
building rentals - about 45 groups rented the senior center for fellowship.
