Mission: The christ child society of naples, florida is a non-profit, non-denominational association of involved volunteers dedicated to serving underprivileged children in collier county. The christ child society advocates for basic health care, literacy education, a clean and safe place for children to play, and a caring adult in their lives. Volunteers provide literacy skills training, food and other basic needs. Christ child society of naples is one of 42 chapters nationwide. We have grown from a corps of 25 volunteers to a membership of 195 women dedicated to serving collier county. Our programs have increased from two to eight, and they run the gamut from education to housing, food, infant care and other basic needs for children and their mothers.
Programs: Habitat for humanity - at habitat for humanity of collier county, we provided beds and bedding for needy children. Also, we provided books for in- home libraries.
golden gate elementary school - at golden gate elementary school, we provided volunteers to tutor & mentor children & donated classroom supplies, clothing & equipment to children, teachers & the school.
fun time academy - at fun time early childhood academy, we provided volunteers, educational supplies and equipment to young disadvantaged children.
