I recently requested tickets for my family i was denied tickets to the Montrey Aquarium by the person that runs it Janet. I am very upset with her reason was she would'nt be able to give them to me because we went in August. My child is deaf an is going through emotional problems an her friend is deaf as well an is going through parent custody i explained this to her. She said no i'm very disappointed in knowing there is people donating to a program like this!

Mission: In order to promote healthier and happier families, The Children's Tree House provides community-based activities, referrals, and resources for families with deaf children. To further increase deaf children's educational, social, and emotional levels, the same services are available to school programs serving deaf students. The activities give the deaf children a chance to socialize with other deaf children, parents the opportunity to support each other, and hearing siblings an occasion to get along better with their deaf brothers and sisters. Since a majority of the families are low income, the field trips and day activities have allowed classrooms or groups of deaf children and their families to experience activities that would not have otherwise been available to them.
Programs: Since 1991, approximately 3,500 deaf children and their families and 100 school programs serving deaf students have utilized the resources and attended scheduled activities offered by the organization. Each year, the number of children served has substantially increased as more families and schools find out about the program. Any family with a child that has any degree of hearing loss and is an infant through a twelfth grader can participate in the program.
