Mission: The mission of the Children's Foundation is to provide a voice for children and their families on issues of critical concern. Two national programs allow the Foundation to work with low-income families and the working poor on child care, child nutrition, and the enforcement of court-ordered child support. The Foundation helps families help themselves through advocacy and training.
Programs: The Foundation's National Child Care Program works with the nearly 700 family child care associations nationwide through training and advocacy. The Program assists the almost 850 support agencies across the country with its research and curriculum development. There are nearly 300,000 regulated family child care providers nationwide connected to the above listed groups. The National Child Support Program offers free information to custodial parents seeking new ways to enforce court-ordered child support.
