Causes: Children & Youth
Mission: To promote, assist and support the development, growth and continuation of the multidisciplinary approach and children's advocacy centers for the protection of pennsylvania's children.
Programs: The organization coordinates ongoing mentoring, consultation, networking, forums and resources that strengthen existing and emerging cac's statewide, improving community responses to child abuse through a collaborative approach to prevention, investigation and intervention. The organization also provides pcac and multidisciplinary teams opportunities for continuous practice improvement, for achieving and maintaining a high level of multidisciplinary collaboration and coordinated services for abused children through evidence based on national cac accrediation practice standards. Provides outreach to underserved and rural counties seeking to improve child abuse responses. Children served statewide totaled 15,734 and 13,999 for the years ended june 30, 2017 and 2016, respectively.
