Mission: Identifying and treating children that have sustained devastating injuries as a direct consequence of war, regional conflict, and/or displacement. The only requirement is that the children are victims of war, regional conflict, and/or displacement, and are unable to obtain surgical care for their injury within their home county. With the help of Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and the University of Southern California, Children of War Foundation is able to connect injured children with some of the finest surgeons in the United States. In addition to providing medical and surgical care to children that have sustained injuries resulting from war, regional conflict and/or displacement, Children of War Foundation also conducts international searches for eligible children, supervises the legal necessities of transporting them to the U.S., prepares all travel arrangements, and searches for nurturing accommodations in the U.S. while treatment is being administered. Children of War Foundation is organized under the Non-profit Public Benefit Corporation Law for public and charitable purposes: Beverly Hills, California: Children of War Foundation, Registered Non-profit, 501(c)(3) Tax-Exempt Organization, Tax ID No. 272685205.
