Causes: Education
Mission: Children first foundation inspires the motivation to learn by engaging students as critical thinkers, problem solvers, and active citizens they strive to serve the whole child by providing hope, fostering strength, and facilitating self-determination.
Programs: The foundation had a successful year. First, protocols and procedures were established according to best practices to ensure we are well-positioned to receive funding from local and national foundations. Second, new partnerships were forged and funding secured from new sources. Third, the foundation provided much needed support in goods and services such as shoes, clothing, and food to hundreds of children and their families in the phoenix metropolitan area and to schools under edkey, inc. Across the state of arizona. In addition, the organization provided scholarships to students attending maricopa community colleges and pioneer college.
