Mission: Equipping people to reach and teach kids for Christ within their own culture, both in the United States and in more than 25 countries around the world
Results: Having been incorporated in 2003, KidZ at Heart quickly received 501(c)(3) status and membership in the ECFA (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability) and SOE (Standards of Excellence in Christian Mission). The ministry also actively participates with the global movements of the 4to14 Window, 1for50 Movement, Global Children's Forum, and Luis Bush's Transform World Global Family Resource Leadership Team. More than 100 short-term teams have conducted children's discipleship training in more than 25 countries on 4 continents, and materials are given away to participants so that the training may be reproduced across their denominations and regions. KidZ at Heart now works with Walk Thru the Bible in the 15 countries of Southern Africa, KEST (Kampala Evangelical School of Theology) in Eastern Africa, and a consortium of accredited universities in Latin America to provide advanced certificates in children's ministry teaching and leadership. Within the United States, KidZ at Heart conducts advanced children's ministry leadership training in both English and Spanish in multiple locations annually.

World missions and children's ministry have been areas I have been passionate about for years. Through KidZ at Heart I have been able combine both of those passions by leading a team of people from my church to train children's ministry leaders and volunteers in Honduras. I especially like the fact we don't take in American resources, but teach them to use just what they have. To see the excitement on the faces of those we have trained won me over. They invite us back each year, hungry for more!
