Causes: Education, Scholarships, Scholarships & Student Financial Aid
Mission: Chicago Autism Network is dedicated to strengthening the local autism community by helping those in need find and afford effective autism therapy.
Results: In 2018 (our first year of fundraising and Therapy Assistance Grants), we awarded 3 Therapy Assistance Grants (1 full grant of $8,000, 2 partial grants of $1,000 each), to families who need financial assistance with therapy costs for the 2019 calendar year.
Target demographics: Individuals with autism find and afford effective autism therapy and supports.
Geographic areas served: The greater Chicagoland area
Programs: Therapy Assistance Grant Program, which gives financial assistance to help low-income families cover the overwhelming costs of therapy.
