Programs: The CHEP Veteran Housing Program addresses the need for resources to support veterans working to transition from homelessness to independent community living. By providing housing, CHEP alleviates a major burden from the lives of veterans in need, which affords them the opportunity to overcome the challenges they face in maintaining stable housing including lack of employment, financial instability, mental health illness and substance/alcohol abuse recovery. Our program functions as a steppingstone for the Veterans, allowing them to get the support they deserve and make plans for a safe, stable future once they transition to permanent housing in the community.
