Programs: Cherokee health systems is committed to ensuring every individual has access to effective, high-quality care. We offer a wide array of comprehensive health services to children, adults, and seniors and offer sliding-fee scales to those who meet certain household size and income guidelines. Cherokee provided the following services during the year ended june 30, 2017: behavioral - provided 185,548 services to 35,336 patients during the 2016 tax year. Of that number, 43,866 received services that were not covered by a third party payer (uninsured). Medical - provided 199,747 services to 60,349 patients during the 2016 tax year. Of these patients, 48,839 received services that were not covered by a third party payer (uninsured). Pharmaceutical - filled 132,974 prescriptions under the federal 340(b) drug program. Of that number, 29,996 prescriptions were not covered by a third party payer (uninsured).
