I have never felt so much love and joy from a team of people that have been blessed with the ability to be the hands and feet of God. From the first day of The Avenue Outreach when we would meet to pack boxes on Wednesday nights, to the evolution of what The Avenue Dream Center has become now, is absolutely incredible. All the people we served; whether they came in or we delivered to, the happiness that is felt is indescribable. There is nothing that can replace the satisfaction of being able to help people in need and being a blessing and a sacrifice to our God!
I serve at The Avenue and Avenue Dream Center, but also work for a local electric utility.
Avenue Dream Center has been a valuable resource to offer our neighbors in this region.
As utility rates and grocery prices increase, most fixed incomes stay the same.
Some working families may even come up short in their finances at times.
Although Avenue Dream Center or the church does not offer financial support for our neighbors utility bills, we are able to create space in their budget by offering quality groceries through our food pantry.
This is all made possible by generous donors and partnerships.
I am grateful for every relationship between donors and Avenue Dream Center because it gives me a way to love and offer a hand up to every person I encounter where I live and work.
The Avenue Dream Center is serving their city and any surrounding county in need! Full of incredible volunteers with heart, passion and sacrifice. This place has a true heartbeat is to give our community Hope and to help people dream again. Lifting the burden of generational poverty, economic hardhips and natural disasters is only the beginning. Our community is better because the Avenue Dream Center is here.
