Mission: The mission of the center for urban sustainability projects is to empower urban neighborhoods to produce sustainable food sources through use of urban and aquaponic farms. The center is based on the belief that its programs are an immediate solution to address washington dc's need for workforce development and the critical need for freshly raised fish and vegetables in some of the city's poorest neighborhoods.
