Programs: The accelerate change program helps social change organizations build the people power and financial resources needed to make the lasting, institutional changes needed for all communities to thrive. It helps organizations develop innovative ways to engage their members using lean startup methodologies and other strategies focused on solving real problems and enhancing the lives of their constituents. Accelerate change also helps funders test new models for large scale, financially sustainable citizen organizing by identifying scalable civic venture opportunities, helping grantees test new models for building membership, and building earned revenue strategies into grantmaking.

the organizational support and development program provides 501(c)(3) charitable public interest organizations with technical backup and assistance in areas such as program development and packaging, internet and social media organizing, and fundraising.

the community voters project aims to increase participation of the new american majority/rising american electorate, focusing primarily on african american and latino communities, through voter registration and gotv campaigns. Since 2004, the community voters project has helped register more than 600,000 latino and african american to vote.

the research program, called the frontier group, provides research and ideas to help citizens build a cleaner, healthier, fairer, and more democratic america. We address issues that will define our nation's course in the 21st century - from fracking to solar energy, global warming to transportation, clean water to clean elections. Our experts and writers deliver timely research and analysis that is accessible to the public, applying insights gleaned from a variety of disciplines to arrive at new ideas for solving pressing problems. The training center program provides comprehensive trainings for organizers, advocates, and activists. Specifically, we offer professional entry-level trainings, intermediate and senior staff trainings, activist workshops for community and neighborhood activists, and customized workshops for non-profit organizations.
