Programs: The center for healthcare education and simulation (ches) offers nursing students, new and experienced nurses, physicians and other healthcare professionals a safe, controlled, learning environment to practice new or build upon existing skills. In 2016-17 fiscal year, ches conducted606 educational sessions and educated 1,207 student nurses,60 new nurses, 661 experienced nurses,669 multidisciplinary healthcare professionals and over 450 community members for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (cpr). Also,59 student nurse assistants participated in the center's nurse assistant training program. Ches consistently reachesout to healthcare organizations and schoolswithin southern wisconsin to share their resources and courses to help improve the quality and safety of patients and employees and encourage exploration of healthcare-related careers. Ches values and believes in the power of partnership and welcomes the opportunity for collaboration.
