The ultimate global humanitarian effort! I am proud to support in every way.
What makes me feel best about supporting this non-profit is the organic feel of the organization... the whole effort of what they do, how they approach their work, the look of their site is earthy and organic. There is no fluff, no salesmanship, it is direct, good work for a critical need(s).
Great organization working to improve public health outcomes, provides expertise, and employs efficient strategies to enhance the ever evolving global health practice!
The Center fro Global Initiatives continues to serve human causes worldwide, with an emphasis on helping build systems that are self-sustaining in the communities served. I have always been impressed by the philosophy of open sharing of resources toward human concerns and the Center's trust that all are better served by this.
Dr. Stout and The Center for Global Initiatives continue to set new standards in generative humanitarianism and change across the globe. The Center connects and mobilizes the highest caliber of experts to create self-sustaining healthcare and education systems for the most vulnerable populations. A heart driven organization for the greater good of all.
The amazing work of CGI is reflected in the education and implementation of best practices in health care and disease prevention in far ranging and difficult to reach locations such as Tanzania and Cambodia.
Dr. Stout's guidance and world view are evident in all of the work undertaken by each CGI project.
Great cause with Good people. In appreciation for all the work they do. Integrity, passion and contribution are hallmarks of this initiative.
Selfless cause with great aims to bring care to the underserved. Bring together vision, projects and initiatives that will bring healthcare where there is none. This organization has great integrity at the heart of its people & it’s mission.
CGI provides the essential tools for humanitarians bringing self-sustaining solutions to the world.
CGI supports the work of many other NGOs who are committed to self-sustaining solutions to poverty and inequity in the world.
Comprehensive, transparent, and effective. The best things a non profit can be. I am glad they are doing the work that they are. Keep it up Chris!
This non-profit has been an inspiration and has served as a model on how things should be done. The world is a better place because CGI exists.
This organization is phenomenal and I have had multiple contacts with the founding director of the organization Dr. Chris Stout. They have multiple countries and projects they are involved in around the world. Dr. Stout is very generous with his resources on seeding projects and providing tools. He has a newsletter that is packed full of important information and tools that he disseminates on a regular basis. He also has various resources available through his library which he has generously shared. The work he is doing in Tanzania with the orphans and the kindergarten he founded is inspirational.
CGI was and still is way out in front of supporting initiatives which not only improve health but transform lives around the world. CGI has visionary, deeply informed and committed leadership acting with integrity and having the executive skills to implement change and make a true difference.
Inspiring organization expanding the boundaries of caring for humankind!
CGI is a great organization that enables people to help others. I hope more people take advantage of the opportunities it supports!

The collaboration with individuals and organizations in need to deliver medical aid to impoverished populations is part of an ongoing commitment.
The focus of Educate > Collaborate > Incubate > Facilitate plays a foundation for CGI functionality.
The MENTOR mechanism : Methods, Experiences, Networking & Training, Organizing & Research is a reactive method of bringing of skill-sets together for the delivery of appropriate solutions, to the effect of creating of self-sustaining programs that improve access to healthcare in underserved communities globally.
The nonprofit is 100% run by volunteers and all donations go directly to projects and operations.
I appreciate CGI's innovative approach to partnering with local NGO's to bring sustainable programs to countries that need improved access to healthcare in underserved communities.
CGI has had a huge impact on poverty and other global needs. It is a very worthwhile nonprofit to support.
CGI does amazing humanitarian work around the globe. One of my favorite nonprofits!
Excellent, timely resources. The features of researchers and practitioner's projects are interesting and inspiring. I lead service groups at my college with the students and always find inspiration to provide information to students from these resources. In addition to the resources being of excellent caliber, the center is unique in focus which to me further serves as inspiration to be authentic to a service lifestyle.
The Center for Global Initiative is a comprehensive agency of worldwide impact. The CGI supports projects that address human suffering in all parts of the world through educations, assistance with locating resources and inspiration from mentors and leaders affliated with the program. At the core of caring professionals willing and able to help others with their projects is Dr. Chris Stout, a global leader. This is the first and main resource for the caring professional seeking to make a meaningful impact in the world ---the extent of services, resources and inspiration is vast and rich.
CGI has great free resources available that have been useful over the years. They are great to keep going back to again and again
We've been working with CGI for several years in regards to a company initiative to send volunteers overseas to help on medical mission trips. CGI has been very helpful in supporting us and our team with resources for fundraising as well as tips on how to better approach these service trips.
I have supported CGI for several years and appreciate the great global impact they have had.
Quality not-for-profit organization that "talks the talk" and "walks the walk"!

A great organization that does important work for humanity.
I learned of CGI through friends, and I encourage others to learn more about what this organization has done, and what they are up to...
Really inspired by all that CGI is doing in Africa.
I have no direct relationship with CGI but knowing Dr. Chris E Stout and reading through him the actions of the Non Profit , I can highly evaluate and appreciate the Work that is being done ! Chris is very passionate with CGI and very capable in his work !
CGI does an excellent job of connecting like-minded professionals and similar humanitarian organizations. Instead of working alone, individuals and non-profits can join forces to be even more effective!
CGI is a wonderful organization that helps to create programs around the world that are not only broad in scope, but also self-sustainable.
It supports both humanitarians (by providing training and promoting flight discounts) as well as the people they serve.
Amazing group of people and work done! Proud to be a part of it.
As a non profit working with disenfranchised populations, I have found the support and resources the Center for Global Initiatives has been invaluable. I applaud their work.
This is a true, humanitarian organization that supports efforts world-wide to help people gain access to care.
Like many international psychologists, I admire how Dr. Chris Stout's Center for Global Initiatives provides valuable resources for colleagues to promote well-being across national boundaries.
The Center for Global Initiatives represents all that is great in a non profit. Doing their own good work and projects as well as supporting, empowering, and collaborating with other organizations to do more, and to do what they do better. They inspire me each day to be the best that I can be in the field for volunteer and service work along a sustainable continuum. Thanks Dr. Stout et al.
CGI has provide the support and push that I and my program has needed to continue to take the step towards achieving our mission. My program is focused on sending rehab clinicians around the world to underserved areas to provide services to those without. Through guidance, and space on their website for fundraising support, as well as tools and resources to maximize success on the ground...any gains that we have made would not be what it was without CGI. I am grateful that they are around.
CGI is run by a dedicated individual who is passionate about his work and his life. CGI is inspirational and provides realistic resources that transcends multiple discipline areas.
Center for Global Initiatives provides a wealth of knowledge on best practices and information on current work being done in the field. The work being discussed is inspiring!
There is a dire need for a non-profit organization such as the Center for Global Initiatives. It puts out top quality information at no cost. It also plays a major humanitarian role because the information can be used by developing countries to get ahead.
Janel Gauthier, Ph.D.
