Mission: To provide education, research and evidence based treatment services for eating disorders.
Programs: The center provides highly specialized, multidisciplinary, evidence based (cbt, dbt, neurobiology, family based treatment and movement) eating disorder treatment for individuals, families in central ohio. Services are provided at 4 levels of care, a 5 day intensive family based program (5 day program), partial hospital (5 days a week, 6 hours a day, 3 intensive outpatient programs (3 days a week, 3 hours per day), and multidisciplinary outpatient treatment for individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, family therapy, nutritional counseling and medication management. The center offers free community support groups twice a month for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and family and friends. The center conducts outcome research for 5 day, partial hospital and intensive outpatient programs. The center conducts client satisfaction surveys for all programs. In 2014 the center was co-recipient of a feeding hope fund grant with university of california, san diego for $100,000 to study an innovative family based intensive program for adults with anorexia nervosa using insights from the most recent neurobiology research.
