Mission: The center for agricultural partnerships (cap) is dedicated to solving agricultural problems by helping farmers adopt more environmentally sound and profitable practices. Cap programs improve the productivity and well being of farm communities, build healthier ecosystems, reduce pesticide risk, and improve water quality in growing regions across the country.
Programs: Providing resources and reports on sustainable farming practices and integrated pest management projects, especially as related to programs in which cap participated in the chesapeake bay area.
in 2013, cap began a project to capture the lessons learned in organizing and coordinating these large-scale programs to improve farming practices in a new publication that will contain case studies of projects across different types of crops and in diverse regions of the us.
