Causes: Developmentally Disabled Centers, Disabilities, Human Services
Mission: To provide day treatment and habilitation services to persons living in mower county, mn who are mentally disabled, brain injured or related condition. Teaching work skills and life skills using occupational and physical therapy.
Programs: Provide education and training to adults with developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury, and/or mental illness: the program served 30 to 32 individuals during 2013. We provided skill training in life activities, sheltered work, and social skills. We also provided direct care to meet the daily needs of the individuals in the program. This may include things such as hygiene and feedings. All the individuals are involved in a work program, as well as leisure and recreational components. Transportation to and from the individuals' residences and/or their work site is also provided.
