Cats Cradle is, in essence, a retirement community for cats! This is terrific, to give senior cats a place when they are too old to be adopted as pets. The cats are cared for, well fed, loved ... what more could anyone want? And cats deserve this kind of place to spend their senior years!
I recently discovered this group, and have donated to help them fulfill the needs of the cats.
The cats live a terrific life, with good food, medical care, and many other thigs to fill their needs. There are many different areas in the community that give the cats their best lives. They just recently created a Hospice area for the cats who need it. And it is lovely, too.
Cats cradle is a lovely sanctuary for senior cats who were once at risk for euthanasia in shelters. Many of the cats were beloved pets who went to shelters when their owners died or went to assisted living. Cats Cradle provides a loving home for them filled with stimulating activities and plenty of love for the rest of their lives. What a wonderful way for a cat to spend its golden years. Because the organization is run completely by volunteers, donations go directly to the care and keeping of the senior cats instead of administrative costs. Visitors are encouraged. Photos are of just a couple of great senior cats saved by Cats Cradle.
