Causes: Recreational Clubs, Sports
Mission: To promote, educate, advance and expand the volleyball sport using principles of teamwork, individual responsibility and good sportsmanship in competitive, learning and non-competitive activities. A primary goal is to develop and enable others to develop individual's skills of each player and enable them to participate in a higher level of team and recreational environment at local schools, regionally, and nationally.
Programs: Cascade volleyball youth program fielded 7 competative female tournament teams at regional and national qualifying tournments in western washington & spokane while practicing twice to three times a week for seven months. The 85 tournament playes were coached by 46 coaches/instructors as part of usa volleyball associaition. In addition to competative team play over 167 additional players participated in clinics, camps and instructive indoor & grass programs year round. Ages 6 to 18 years old).
cascade also donated volleyballs, equipment and instructional materials to seattle public schools elementary and middles school p/e and after school volleyball team programs. Cascade donated volleyballs and equipment to private and shoreline public schools.
