Mission: To train and supervise a diverse group of volunteers to advocate for children who have been abused and/or neglected. These children are at risk of being removed, or have been removed, from their homes.
Programs: Casa recruits, trains, and supervises citizen volunteers to advocate for children who have been abused or neglected. Casa volunteers gather information to help family court judges and others involved in the case to determine what whould happen next in the lives of the children and the families involved. Casa's two full-time and three part-time staff and 50 active volunteers served 210 children. This program is funded by government contracts and contributions.
