Mission: Founded in 1984, caregivers is one of the original pilot programs for volunteer care giving in the nation. We provide support to more than 500 vulnerable seniors thanks to more than 450 dedicated volunteers and students from our building bridges program.
Programs: The organization was able to provide much needed support and companionship for numerous elderly individuals in the community. By 2050, the senior population in ventura county will double. Caregivers helps identify a network of support, including the opportunity for a one-on-one match with a carefully screened volunteer, to address the individual needs of seniors in our community.
