I've never come across a more dedicated advocate than Jeneanne when the care and love of animals are involved. When she established Care for Needy Paws I knew that she was the angel that we needed here in Cherokee County to help those who weren't able to do it all themselves. She works tirelessly to see that the essential needs of one's pets are met and is often heart broken that she can't do more. Jeneanne and those who work with her have made such a difference in so many lives...both human and their beloved four legged babies.
This past May I had an adorable kitty find his way to my front porch. It was quite obvious what he wanted...a good home. Being the cat lover that I am, I brought him in and gave him the run of my screened in back porch. I already was the "mama" of a very spoiled little feline lady who just would have nothing to do with accepting a new member into the family. There was also the issue of having him checked out by a vet and having him neutered. Financial resources being very tight I turned to Jeneanne Organ and Care for Needy Paws. She helped me find the vet care he needed and she helped with the expense of that and the neutering. I am happy to say that I was able to find a loving, forever home for him. I don't know how I would have been able to rescue this adorable little guy without Jeneanne's assistance.
I have had the pleasure to know Jeneanne for a lot of years. I know that her love of animals knows no bounds. She is a tireless advocate and champion for their welfare. She is such a loving and caring person who I know achieves much happiness and pleasure in seeing the good that her organization is able to do. Supporting Care for Needy Paws is a FANTASTIC way to help animals in need! I volunteer at animal shelters and constantly see the need for affordable animal healthcare, especially spay and neuter operations. There are too many cats and dogs in need of homes and the number keeps growing as unwanted kittens and puppies continuously are brought into shelters. The overpopulation leads to what no animal lover wants to think about so organizations that facilitate spay and neutered operations are priceless. Thank you Care for Needy Paws for helping get our dogs and cats spayed and neutered!!
Care for Needy Paws is probably the most comprehensive and dedicated animal charity in the Atlanta metro area. Jeneanne, the owner, is a tireless champion for voiceless animals in need and consistently "finds a way" to get the best care available even when clients find themselves in desperate financial straits. As a volunteer, I have witnessed first hand the dedication she has to these animals and the genuine love she feels towards every living creature she meets. It's truly inspiring to be a part of the organization!

Jeneanne Organ works tirelessly helping people that need assistance with Spay/Neuter, vet services, providing food, etc. She has a heart of gold and has helped countless lives. That being said, she is also not afraid to stand up for what she believes in and will fight for an animal that has no voice. She has devoted her life to making the world a better place for our four legged babies.
This organization was begun by an 80-year-old woman, previously employed by a well-known animal charity whose funds were not being appropriately utilized for the animals in need. That chapter ultimately was forced to declare bankruptcy, but the animals still needed help. So, on a fixed income, she was trying to continue to support those without a voice by using her own meager funds. When she was no longer able to keep up with the demand on her own, she made the decision to start her own organization so she would know exactly where the donations would be going - and every cent would go to the animals.
As a result of her stellar reputation as a tireless advocate, many of the donors and supporters she had worked with previously followed her to support her new non-profit. She is well-known in the veterinary community; and while she appreciates their generosity and willingness to contribute, she will not utilize the services of clinics whose care is sub-par.
Having been raised in a home where the value of these 4-legged lives was as genetically programmed as learned, I can tell you this woman is absolutely inspirational. Her love and devotion to critters of every species, shape and size is genuine. Her work is what gets her up in the morning and gives her purpose. I would like to endorse her organization, Care for Needy Paws, as one of the best. She has touched countless lives through this organization because she had the determination to follow her heart when others would have given up.
She is now 82 years old and continues her quest to help as many furry lives as she can.
I have been involved with fundraising for animal welfare for many years, and when Jeneanne Organ decided to form a new non-profit to fund spay-neuter and emergency medical care, she asked me to be part of it. She has a long and successful involvement with spay-neuter programs and is as dedicated to helping the "babies" as anyone I've ever worked with. Starting a non-profit from scratch is not an easy task, but she has made every effort to establish Care For Needy Paws as a place for those without resources to go when their pets need help. I experienced the most professional and heartfelt response from Care For Needy Paws when our german shephard "Pulo" became horribly ill and we received their guidance/assistance in visiting a local Veterinarian. Unfortunately the most humane response after review by the Veterinarian was to gently and lovingly have "Pulo" leave this world. We buried our wonderful family pet under a large tree in our backyard.
I sent a picture of "Pulo" to Care For Needy Paws , inc. and received a heartfelt reply which my wife and I very much appreciated.
They have helped hundreds of families in financial need care for their pets. In some cases, the pets would have had to be euthanized without the help of this organization. Their love and respect for animals is evident in everything they do, whether it is a request for a spay or neuter, help for an ill or injured pet, or providing food in order to keep a pet at home rather than having to surrender it to a shelter. They are unique and extremely dedicated to their passion for pets..
Jeneanne has always continuously gone above and beyond to help with answer any questions about our family's furry loved ones. She is intelligent, quick-witted, and funny, but most importantly she will always do anything in her power to help any animals in need. I could not ask for a better advocate for not just our pets, but any and all animals.
