Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Care Bearers was founded in 1990. Realizing the need for support services in Yakima County, family members created Care Bearers in memory on their HIV+ loved ones, and since that time we have grown to serve clients in nine counties. Services are provided not only to those infected, but also to those affected (family members living with someone who has tested HIV+). Volunteers provide most of our services.
