Causes: Family Counseling
Mission: The organization serves as a coordinating agency for the collection and distribution of holiday meals and gifts to citizens in need of such assistance. Annual assistance and emergency assistance is provided as well as scholarships, camperships and assistance to three elementary schools to purchase basic clothing and supplies for emergencies. The organization maintains a food pantry to provide food in emergency situations.
Programs: Organization provided year round and emergency assistance for rent, utilities, clothing, medical expenses and food in excess of $105,890 to 800+ families. 40+ children were given camp experiences and 6 students received scholarships. Spring, thanksgiving and christmas baskets of food and gifts were provided to over 150 families. In addition, a food pantry was maintained and made available to the community all year. We served 172 families and 114 individuals from our pantry in 2017. Organization maintains a phone line to facilitate immediate responses to requests for help from the community.
