Mission: The mission of capital area school for the arts charter school is to provide students with a rich, rigorous arts and academic high school program that enables them to succeed in college and careers.
Programs: Capital area school for the arts (casa) charter school provides students with a rich, rigorous arts and academic high school program that enables them to succeed in college and careers. Casa charter school is the singular provider of an innovative multidisciplinary arts and academic education in central pennsylvania. It attracts the most talented and motivated students to pursue their arts discipline while engaging in a rigorous academic curriculum taught by gifted and passionate teachers. In the 2016-2017 academic year, the casa charter school enrolled approximately 200 students from 31 central pennsylvania school districts. Casa students achieved the highest score in literature on the state keystone exams of any school in central pennsylvania and received the 2nd highest school performance profile score for any charter school in the commonwealth of pennsylvania.
