Mission: Cane river children's services is a place of healing for children, individuals, and families with mental health and behavioral health needs which enriches lives and assists people in overcoming adversity, fulfilling their potential, and developing healthy family systems. The vison of cane river children's services is to develop an internal continuum of care in our community for at-risk children and families who need to connect with a positive support system in order to enhance their potential for future success.
Programs: The residential group home program provides for the safety and well being of juveniles, program staff and the community; provides services aimed at elimination of dangerous behaviors and to promote social and emotional adjustment, enhance life skills and independent living skills.
the child placing program's objective is to assist individuals in seeking and obtaining educational, vocational training and gainful employment, to provide services aimed at enhancing life skills, independent living skills and to promote social and emotional growth.
the community counseling program provides counseling for juveniles to promote emotional and social well being. The counseling services are open to the community.
