Causes: Cancer
Mission: Our mission is to provide information, support, and awareness for children and adolescents with cancer and their families, to advocate for their needs, and to support research so every child survives and leads a long and healthy life. We offer support, programs, and practical assistance to these children and their families.
Programs: Care bags - provide bags with diagnosis specific information and support items to approximately 350 families through delivery by hospital social worker when child receives pediatric cancer diagnosis.
emergency funds - provide portion of funeral expenses for families who have had a child die of cancer.
camp prime time support - camp primetime provides a weekend of camp for kids with cancer and their families as well as bereaved families. Candlelighters provides financial support for arts and crafts and other activities as well as an honor/memorial for kids who have attended in the past and died from cancer.
