Causes: Disabilities, Homeless & Housing, Independent Housing for People with Disabilities
Mission: To care for adults with special needs in family homes, in meaningful work options, and in a rich array of spiritual, cultural, educational, and artistic activities.
Programs: Residential ira program, day habilitation, and center for social arts- camphill hudson works to build healthy social relationships in an environment dedicated to personal and social healing and caring for the earth. Our mission is to build community with people of all abilities through living, learning, working, and playing with people of all ages, races, abilities, and creeds. Approximately 1,300 units were served in the ira program during the fiscal year. The organization also has a day habilitation program.
camphill hudson provides fiscal intermediary services to self directed services- individuals accessing self-directed medicaid services. We support individuals in making decisions about and taking responsibility for maintaining their services. Utilizing a person-centered planning process, self-direction allows individuals freedom to choose supports tailored to their needs, and to take responsibility for managing resources allocated to them. Approximately 4,000 units were served in the self directed services program during the fiscal year.
