Programs: For fourteen years, Camp Corral has been a steadfast advocate for military-connected children, providing spaces where they can find respite, connection, and healing. Our flagship summer camp program has transformed the lives of over 35,000 children of wounded, ill, and fallen military heroes. Military children navigate a unique set of challenges that can deeply impact their emotional well-being—higher rates of anxiety and depression, increased caregiving responsibilities, and the emotional toll of a parent's service-related injuries. These children often grow up fast, shouldering burdens far beyond their years, yet opportunities for structured, peer-driven support remain scarce. For these children, traditional support structures often fall short. Clinical interventions may not always be accessible, and many military families prefer peer-based, experiential learning environments where children can develop resilience naturally. This is where Camp Corral’s holistic program model provides an innovative and much-needed alternative. Our Summer Camp program provides military-connected children, ages 8-15, with a week-long opportunity to build self-confidence, establish peer connections, and engage in outdoor adventures designed to foster resilience. Campers participate in activities that promote emotional regulation, mindfulness, and gratitude—all within a safe environment where they feel understood. Long-term investors allow this life-changing opportunity to be offered at no cost to the families we serve.
