Mission: We identify successful homeless programs and invest in them to share a portion of our income to improve the quality of life in our community for all citizens. We increase citizen participation in rendering support. We fund programs which help homeless people and have a proven track record. We fund operating costs and administrative costs which are difficult to get funded. We encourage money to be used to leverage other funds or services. We fund things which other organizations often can''t do such as operating costs and stipends to homeless to work. We hold an annual forum to educate others and ourselves about what the current and greatest needs are. Rather than funding new ideas or keeping money in the bank and using interest, we prefer to invest our hard-earned money into programs proven to work.
Programs: We donate funds to homeless service organizations in Cambridge and Somerville
