Programs: Women's business center - this program provides local, regional and outreach activities in 29 counties plus small business services and other business related activities to the target population of women who want to start-up their own business or expand their existing business. The center conducts small business skills training programs, direct one-on-one counseling and ongoing technical assistance services, and other business related programs and services. This program is funded by government contributions that amounted to $149,512.
21st century community learning center - this program provides after-school activities for low performing students and their families in the utica city school district (high school level). Some of the activities provided include tutoring, teen parenting, active family learning series, career exploration, entrepreneurship, career and college bound, financial management, health and wellness, theater, drama and performing arts. This program is funded by government contributions that amounted to $827,421.
extended day - this program coordinates after-school programming for the utica city school district (elementary through high school). entrepreneur assistance program (eap) - this program serves women, minorities, dislocated workers and low income clients by offering them training and technical assistance to start or expand a business. Eap covers three counties in upstate new york (oneida, herkimer, madison) and offers a 60 hour comprehensive training program and one-on-one counseling sessions. This program is funded by government contributions that amounted to $73,630.
