Programs: Bif events - a description of the organization's significant events operated during 2017 are as follows:collaborative innovation summit - the bif collaborative innovation summit brings 500 people together in a historic theater to hear 15-minute stories of transformation, as 32 people from many different industries and sectors tell the stories of their creative processes, their struggles, and where they're going in the future. A purposeful community of innovation junkies gathers at each summit, ready to connect with 'unusual suspects and new ideas, get in touch with their innate creativity, and identify better ways to deliver value. Since the first bif summit, we've heard stories from more than 200 innovators from across every sector and discipline. Even more amazing is that over 2,500 people from around the world have participated in a bif summit. Business model innovation workshops give leadership teams the opportunity for a deep dive into the bif design methodology. Over three design sprints teams will receive hands-on experience in each component of the bif design methodology:shift: adopt a customer experience lens as a foundation for designconceptual design: imagine new ways to create, deliver, and capture valueprototype and test: iterate a minimum viable business model in the marketcommercialize: develop an implementation road map to deploy and scaleafter each design sprint teams will be prepared to lead the transformation journey and business model design process within their organization.

A description of the organization's significant experience labs operated during 2017 are as follows: the bif student experience lab works with education leaders to design, test, and launch new business models that support and empower 21st-century students. We partner with higher ed institutions, school districts, nonprofit organizations, companies, and foundations to generate cutting-edge solutions to major education challenges. Using human-centered research, design, and storytelling, we engage students, teachers, and administrators in the co-creation and real-world testing of transformative business models. The bif patient experience lab works with healthcare leaders to design, test and launch new business models that better deliver value to patients and their families. We partner with healthcare systems, insurers, nonprofit organizations, service providers, and foundations to uncover the unmet needs of patients and create models that deliver 21st-century care. Using human-centered research, design, and storytelling, we engage patients, their families, care providers, and administrators in the co-creation and real-world testing of transformative business models. The bif citizen experience lab works with public services leaders to design, test and launch new business models that better deliver value to citizens and communities. We partner with institutions, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, companies and foundations to generate solutions that better serve our citizens. Using human-centered research, design, and storytelling, we engage citizens, civic leaders, government officials, and institutional executives in the co-creation and real-world testing of transformative business models.
