Mission: The bdc is charged with administering the city of burlington's main street america program at the local level and building a public-private partnership to spur economic development in partnership with the state agency. Our mission is to create an environment for development that enhances downtown burlington as the cultural, historic, social, and economic center of the community and promote unity along the way.
