Mission: To function as a theravada buddhist temple, in accordance with the tipitaka; to revive, promote, and support the community of bhikkhunis (female monks) and samaneris (female novice monks); to promote and facilitate continuous study of and adherence to the tipitaka among members of the catu parisa (the fourfold community); to promote, teach, proclaim, establish, reveal, explain, and clarify the eighty-four thousand dhammakhandha (aggregates of dhamma) in the tipitaka.
Programs: Special uposatha days including sangha day, buddha day, dhamma day, abhidhamma day, and kathina day: conducted special ceremonies, special tipitaka chanting sessions, and dhamma talks and lectures by guest speakers.
services on regular and uposatha days: provided the community a sacred place to learn and study the dhamma, conduct the tipitaka chanting, and perform daily devotional activities with our bhikkhunis and samaneris.
