Causes: Women, Womens Service Clubs
Mission: A non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian organization that provides funds and charitable services to the community
Programs: The brown county community women's club, inc. Was started in 2008 by 13 women. It has grown to over 250 members. The club offers its members the opportunity to participate in various fundraising events, benefiting deserving causes including the brown county schools, american legion auxillary, house of hope, shop with a cop, and many more organizations. Also, the club offers its members the opportuniy to volunteer their time and talents to many non-profit groups such as st. Vincent de paul, meals for st. John's homeless shelter, toy distributions, and various food drives. This fiscal year, the club as a whole logged over 10,000 volunteer hours. Members of the club are devoted to community projects that enhance the quality of life for the community's youth, senior citizens, and those in need. The club has no paid staff and the money raised is given back to the local community.
