Thank you for bringing fun and lively theater productions to Green Bay!

I have been volunteering with Literacy GB for years. I've never had a bad experience. I've tutored women from Belarus and have felt nothing but joy. If I have any questions at all, be it about a method of teaching, materials to use, or whatever, those at Literacy have been there to help me. The first woman I taught now has a managerial position at her job, with people beneath her. She is so happy!

The YWCA actively works to live out their mission: empowering women and eliminating racism. They have several services from the Stand Against Racism series, the Women's Empowerment center, excellent child care, and aquatic and exercise programs.

Golden House has not responded at all within 28 calendar days regarding my enquiry about a 2020 grant for a program program it is implementing which is Coaching Boys Into Men from Futures Without Violence with regard to autism tailoring. <br>Since some people with autism may disagree with certain messages in such programs, such tailoring can make these programs even more effective by catering for a special audience and can even enhance autism awareness.

One day we found a baby raccoon outside and i wanted to help it right away but I couldn’t incase of the mom coming back but after 8 hours she didn't so we decided to get the baby to a shelter and that shelter was Bay Area humane society and they toke the raccoon in with open arms.

When i was born i had 3 holes in my heart bellin health saved my life by preforming open heart surgery only a few days of my birth

CASA of Brown County continues to provide a voice for those children who are under protection within the court system. Volunteer advocates work on the behalf of those children without thinking twice...it's all about the kids...their safety and their future!

I doubt this "museum" ever actually existed. My guess is it was a tax-dodge to support someone's model railroad and vintage motorcycle hobbies. The address of the "museum" was a private residence and the guy running it was selling model trains out of his garage. For a donation to the museum (again I use that word ironically), we were supposed to get dealer pricing for life on model railroad merchandise. After raking in donations they abruptly closed up shop and disappeared.

JOSHUA has given me a platform to express and network on local issues I advocate for. Their organization has done and is doing amazing things! Community engagement, informational events and advocacy are just beginning of Action! Keep it up JOSHUA!

I would like to be able to share a heartwarming story about this nonprofit, but Kenyahelp, Inc. is set up as a corporation. Why would a charity executor, name a non profit charity "Kenyahelp, Inc ?" Potential donors would not be able to claim the donation amount on their tax return for obvious reasons. Manta claims this company made approx $100,000 last year. Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction.

I love being a member of the Service League of Green Bay. This women-volunteer ran organization has many different initiatives, and approximately 30 members. Our biggest project is the Back to School Store which provides a new outfit, shoes, socks, underwear and school supplies to 1,500 elementary aged, under-privileged students in Green Bay, and 1,500 backpacks filled with school supplies to Middle School students in need. <br>Among the Back to School Store, we have Basics for Babies, Teens for Independent Living, Basic Necessities, and take part in Giving Tree each Christmas. We provide money to Encompass Childcare for their weekend food program and only have one main fundraiser each year to support these projects.

Wise Women Gathering Place provides an inspiring example of how an organization can facilitate transformative change for the communities they serve. The WWGP leadership and staff demonstrate an uncommon level of commitment and passion for service. During the time I spent in residence with them, I observed how young people and adults alike embraced their committed service and the positive impacts yielded as a result. Any funders looking for a high-impact, community-strengthening organization to support should give as much as possible to WWGP. They are worth every dollar.

I love what Freedom House stands for! The staff is committed to changing lives!

They provide more than just food they also provide comfort and a spritual aspect your daily life. There are smiles and laughter while you wait for food or to serve. God Bless everyone there.

This organization is one that is truly focused on education, family, and support. From the Annual Conference that we host, to the family member functions OURS is there for supporting pre- and post-adoptive families.

Scheduled appt. for a tour and discussed which days I would need childcare. Encompass said they had openings so I scheduled an appt. for the following Monday. When I went in for the tour I was informed at this time they no longer had openings. I never recieved a phone call to cancel the tour. <br>I feel encompass is very unprofessional and unorganized. I am extremely grateful that my daughter will not be attending encompass.

From the first time ever hearing of this organization, I found a family of 9 members, running a highly efficient food bank. But as I walked through their small warehouse, I was amazed to find not only food, but also clothing, furniture and couceling being administered by the organization's own CEO and local non-denominational pastor. I would quickly learn that this has been a man on a mission since the 1970's, working first, from his own home and using what small amount of money out of his own pocket-he gave "in the name of the Lord" to ANYONE and EVERYONE asking for help. In some cases, he simply went to neighborhoods known to be living below the level of poverty and one home at a time, in the cover of darkness during the most fridgid weather (at times well below zero)he and his sons would simply leave 2-3 boxes of food during holidays. Additionally, included in the boxes were x-mas gifts and turkey w/all the fixings. During the years of 1998 into 2000, he had rented a small building, filled it with toys to be sold as gifts for x-mas. However,Revival Fires CEO actually GAVE ALL OF IT AWAY to every unsuspecting customer who had thought they were buying the toys-I witnessed as each customer shopped until they reached the register. Then, the items were rung-up in the cash register, totalled then bagged-up. Then each were told quietly that "there is no charge today" giving all the credit to God. I watched tears of joy, and of sorrow in knowing that "someone cared about (them) and knew they were nearly broke" It still brings a tear to my eyes to think of this act of pure kindness that has gone without notice all these years. This organization has quietly remained "under the radar" by choice because "the mission is one of mercy"-not one looking for a pat on the back, a cameo on camera for credit, or a story in a newspaper or even a simple thanks from the recipients." Revival Fires has always been and will always be from, and about help through God's blessings." Well I can only say may God Bless Revival Fires Food Bank as much as they have blessed so many in need of their charity.
