Programs: Our purpose is to promote ecumenical relationships which are mutual, inclusive, and provide unity in diversity; relationships whose basis is love and "power with" rather than "power over" or privilege. Our goal is the flourishing of all people in their uniqueness and interrelation. We offer classes, lectures, discussion groups, weekend workshops and retreats where people can ask questions relating to their spiritual journeys, address their doubts, and become empowered to meet the challenges of life. Many programs and events are free or have a nominal registration fee for participants. Scholarships are also available for most programs. Classes/events during 2011 included:who am i? Series (january 2011): participants were able to explore the inner you in the new year. The program explored the following concepts: are you an introvert or an extrovert? How do you relate to other people? What is your unique gift? Come to delve into what makes you the individual that you are, explain and elaborate on your personality, and uncover your personal gift to the world. Feast day of st. Brigid (february 2011): brigid's place honored its namesake with ritual, readings, and a festive reception. Holotropic breathwork (march 2011): holotropic breathwork combined enhanced breathing, evocative music, focused release work, art, and group sharing to access the intrinsic wisdom of the body/psyche/spirit. Women's seder (april 2011): this is an interfaith event that allows non-jewish women to participate in the jewish seder ritual. Unlike a traditional seder, however, the women's seder focuses on the contributions of jewish women. The feast day of st. Mary magdalene (july 2011): this event focused on the message from the gospel of mary and how it relates to our lives.
