Mission: The mission of bridge communities is to transition homeless families to self-sufficiency by working with partners to provide mentoring, housing, and supportive services
Programs: Bridge provides a broad spectrum of wrap around services and transitional housing for homeless families, moving them from the crisis of homelessness to self-sufficiency in a two-year program. In 2017, bridge served 139 families, including their 263 children. Among key accomplishments: 74 clients secured full-time employment, 44 clients enrolled in college courses or vocational training, 26 clients attended job readiness workshops and 78 clients received employment services. 46 children received tutoring, 88 children received activities and summer camp scholarships, over 60% of families completing program bought homes or secured unsubsidized housing.
