Mission: This corporation is organized exclusively for educational, religious and charitable purposes as specified in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code to: (1) increase educational opportunities for the children of Tanzania by building pre-schools which offer young students an academic headstart; foster a safe, nurturing, healthy, environment and which encourage older siblings to remain in school by allowing mothers to work outside of the home; (2) raise the U.S. public?s level of awareness of the educational challenges of the children of Tanzania;(3) create an infrastructure of continuing support, which may include possible scholarships and resource allocation for the students utilizing the schools built by the corporation;(4) build bonds of communication between various secular and religious organizations in order to pool resources and eliminate duplication of services;(5) partner with allied organizations whose missions complement that of Brick by Brick for Tanzania!, Inc. (These organizations may provide curriculum, supplies, equipment, scholarships, teachers, etc.);(6) lessen poverty in Tanzania by helping create employment opportunities directly related to the construction of the schools.
