Mission: Plan, operate, and maintain housing for very low income elderly and disabled individuals on a non-profit basis. Provide individuals with housing and services specially designed to meet the spiritual, physical, social, emotional, and psychological needs of the elderly and contribute to their health, security and happiness.
Programs: 1. Operates a 60 unit apartment complex of affordable housing for low income individuals. The apartment complex is financed by the united states department of housing and urban development. 2. Maintains a waiting list of 187 very low income applicants. There is an approximate 4-5 year wait for admission. 3. Consistently maintains a 97-100% occupancy rate. 4. Provides affordable housing and supplemental services to 60 very low income seniors and disabled individuals on the campus of a continuing care retirement community. Rent is 30% of adjusted tenant income & includes cost of all utilities. 5. Services provided to tenants include 24 hour security, 24 hour access to home care, daily shuttle service to grocery stores and shopping centers, exercise programs, volunteer opportunities, meals on wheels, and community special events and programs.
